I never understood how this news blew up so much.
PLA watcher: we got usual reliable sources saying PLAAF is getting 120 J-20 a year, there are about 400 in service currently

These 2 aren't yet quite at Pravin Swaheny levels of Blackpilling about India's military situation, but they're getting there.
I think it gained traction due to TWZ reporting on it.
Also I don’t understand why it’s such a big deal for Indians when they need to learn how to counter J-10C/AWAC combo first. Talk about running before you learn to walk.

This video comes off as quite similar to early 2000s China where people were plainly aware that if US attacked PLA would be fucked, hence Liu Cixin's Full Spectrum Barrage Jamming and all the people simming eight J-8 going up against one F-22. It was well understood at the time that those things were cope.
So the solution then would be to follow a similar trajectory as China: lay low and avoid attracting trouble while focus on domestic platform development.
It's pretty refreshing that this sort of doomer discussion does happen in India, instead of the usual chest beating. More of this and they might actually get somewhere.
