Western media, not tabloids but actual "top tier" papers of record like New York Times, Guardian, NPR, University of Chicago Press, etc falsely claim that China has pay to sit benches that use spikes to stab sitters that don't pay, showing how China had taken hostile architecture and commercialization of public spaces to the highest level.

Liberal Chinese media on the other side claims that the west has the same benches - and that it's a good thing!

Is it really a surprise that Chinese made products has 95% of the capability of US made ones at 10% of the price?
It'd be a complete massacre without the tarrifs.
The only defects I see of that armor plate is the wrapping which got torned out very easily from a Lapua while the RMA plate seems more fine.
Maybe the only cost cutting is on the black wrapping idk, anyone else got other ideas?

Also these level 4 plates are rated to stop steel core 7.62x51, not sure why he's trying to be cute by starting with regular 5.56.

Seeing 2 .308 shots to the same spot cloudn't go through, it seems the kevlar layer alone might be enough to stop it.

Btw doesn't deformation actually reduce blunt trauma? I know both cars and motorcycle helmets are built to deform for this reason, since slowing things down gradually is better than stopping it instantly. Obviously not alot of people wearing plates are getting shot by .338 these days.

Can someone in the know verify this?

Maybe because he stated that he bought it from Temu, he probably doesn't quite believe the label at first.

You know, according to him, it could have been one of those 'low-quality Chinese garbage' that he had in his mind.
