Seems like there are two new types of helmets in service with the PAP. Also, I wonder if the Type 95 carbine would be necessary, as the QBZ-95-1 is already short enough to room-to-room fighting.

The PLAN seems to have adopted the Type 95 carbine. Ship boarding missions and dedicated urban operations prefer shorter. This is why nations like Israel issue 13 inch barrel bullpups.

Even if it’s aimed for export it could still back door into domestic use.
I hope this means the final death of the Air force and Marine Blue vanity patterns.
I mean if you want to give them something special that’s fine but don’t give them something stupid.
For example something like a transitional pattern like Multicam well the regular PLA wears a wood land or desert pattern. Because Airborne and Amphibious forces are rapid reaction troops giving them a transitional pattern that works okay across all environments works for them. Where the rest of the PLA tend not to wonder far from home so to speak. If they need to deploy they have the time to collect a specialist uniform set.

1st pic seems to carry a brand name or something, think it's commercial trial batch .
Yes nitewing 红隼防务 has had quite a bit screen time. They made those plate carrier trialed on some helicopter assault brigade (probably the same ones) from awhile back as well. They have some presence on weibo
