Correction: they are powered.
And yes, the exoskeletons are already utilized in quite some China's tourist areas like Taishan Mountain. The rental fee is 200 yuan (less than $30 USD) for one day. The battery will last for 5+ hours after fully charged. They will help some old people to climb up the mountains they ever dream to do so.

Why didn't you post this earlier? This could have been my 520 gift to my wife. All three of us love hiking. If I have to purchase this in the Mainland, it is not that difficult to spend a weekend on the Fuxing Hao going northward to buy my stuffs. Anyway just kidding.

Hey man, if you can use your own legs to climb the mountain, that means you & your wife are 100% healthy. Good for you, isn't it?
