I understand what it means to splatter someone's brains all over the floor with a steel bat. I don't think we pick the brains up, put it back in their head so they can get up, then we will bow to each other, shake hands and go home to rest up for the next sparring match.I don't mean to ask or say anything personal,
but I'm not sure if you understand there's a difference between fighting in a gym and for real
(like hitting from behind; going on the ground to use a concealed weapon; etc.)
This may surprise you, and everyone on this forum, but I consider myself a very peaceful and soft-hearted person. I hate to kill things for food but I love seafood. Because of this, I always buy dead crabs and lobsters to cook because I don't want to put a live animal in the pot. It even makes me uncomfortable to drop a live clam into boiling water. But these cockroaches are different; they are not people, nor are they innocent animals. They are the embodiment of evil to me. They have no lives, no souls, but only cause chaos, pain and destruction until they are vanquished and put to eternal rest. For me, to kill them would bring nothing but pleasure and accomplishment; it is like killing a problem that riddles your house.
The misunderstanding is all with you. I don't think you understand the level of hatred that Chinese people like me have for the terrorists in Hong Kong or the level of disdain that traitors are assigned in Chinese culture. I think that growing up in a small European country without rivalry or anything to fight for, you have lost sight that truly competitive nations like Russia, China, USA, are all willing to go to any extent to achieve their goals and killing people isn't a particular red line.
