Looks like some of those protesters who ran away to the US are trying to form a Hong Kong government-in-exile and getting advice from Tibetan government-in-exile.

That comment underneath is gold:
积累了宝贵的经验及教训,为中国民国流亡政府的搭建做好铺垫
"Make sure you accumulate plenty of learnings and experiences so as to pave the way for Republic-of-China-in-exile"

How are those roaches able to legitimately claim they're the HK gov't in exile when none of these people were elected, selected by a legitimate Chinese entity. Being selected or appointed by America pretty much render their imaginary legitimacy invalid and a non-starter since HK has never been and will never become part of the U.S. territory and jurisdiction.

They can play their little make believe games in the land of make believe but if they ever tries to bring their stupidity back into China, the government should not waste time to deport them back to America and ensure they stay there.

Why did they moved back to Hong Kong? Duh!! $$$ the amount of people I know and met in Canada during my studies that mentioned they are only using the Canadian passport as form of insurance - a just in case scenario - and enhancements to their status in H.K. and add the advantages in terms of education and language proficiency in English because the money they make in HK dwarfs the income potential in Canada. All of which was a shocked to me when I was told about it.
Both you and @SanWenYu have the same experience as me.
Everyone I know from HK who went to Canada is shocked and dismayed by the amount of income tax the government takes. Those who returned to HK from abroad have no plans to return because they don't want to give up all that extra money. This is why I also question that wisdom "wealthy, well-educated immigrants" will come to Canada. They know you want their pocketbooks, Justin!

I posted this before, but the University of Toronto used to have special graduation ceremonies in HK because so many graduates went back there immediately.

This is bad. Even the Hongkong government builds nano housing not only the sick landlords.

It’s all about the land. If it’s in mainland it would be a non-issue (land technically all owned by the state), yet in HK land is just a pain in the ass to get.

This woman stole a 7 kg metal pole and wore a pair of gloves to avoid fingerprinting the pole in July last year. She dropped the pole from 3rd stores to one floor below in Times Square, Causeway Bay on a group of police officers, luckily no one was hurt. Now convicted of 3 charges and remanded prior to sentencing.

For Chinese food, prisoners can choose black pepper beef, melon, white rice. While for Western breakfast, prisoners can choose avocado spread with bread and milk tea. As for lunch, prisoners can choose between green pea sweet porridge, bread with butter, chicken and curry beans, melon and pancakes.
