I know a lot of people outside Hong Kong have developed certain views about Hong Kong people, especially young HKers, and particularly since last years. We devoted many posts in this thread to lament or condemn many of them. But I also have found over the last few months that there are quite some young HKers who invest time and efforts to discover and understand China better and tell the stories to the audience.

Here is a young HK lady who has researched and told the history of China's involvement in Korean War:


Here is one episode from a very long series on China's modern history by two young HKers. This one is also on Korean War, or more specifically on Battle of Triangle Hill (上甘岭).


It's pretty impressive that these young people actually are interested in and researched at such detailed level of these battles.

Let's remind ourselves what "peaceful" protest looks like. It's funny that a certain person NEVER condemns this?

Another reminder that it is not just Chinese people that see what the "peaceful" demonstrators doing is wrong and indefensible.
