With teachers like this brain washing their students. Some of you know I'm a lecturer at our local college. And if we behave like this with our students in the west, men in black will be knocking on my door to make me disappear.

But before we get rid of the teachers, we need to get rid of religious schools. Mainly Christians schools. Sorry guys, I know most of you live in the west and Christians there are in general, benign and non-Threatening. But in Hong Kong these school are hotbeds of ANTI-CCP China establishments. And most of these receive fundings from foreign NGOs. I know because I had first hand experience.

They Have ingrained hatred because, CCP is officially athiest. So it's against everything they stand for. Look at the following chart where schools have their students arrested. The top ten are all Christians schools.

My sister is married to a Christian pastor from HK. They moved to HK after he took a pastoral job in HK. At first, She had much difficulty dealing the HK congregation partly because she is more fluent in Mandarin than Cantonese. After a few years, she is saying that she had learn to adjust and the congregation are friendlier and nicer now.

As part of the adjustment though, I noticed that she became very anti-mainland Chinese. I know this because she started using many derogatory terms when talking about mainland Chinese. She could only have picked up that behavior from the church as her whole social life revolves around church activities.

The christian church in HK is part of the anti-China movement.

I don't know about how well you get on with your sister and brother-in-law or which church she goes to, but you're implying she's been "improperly influenced" by going to church in HK.

Given the hostility in Hong Kong now towards mainland China, is it surprising she might see things from the perspective of HK people having lived there for some years?

There is no such thing as "the christian church". There are many different denominations in the Christian faith and not all act the same way, even in Hong Kong. Besides, the people who go to her church are presumably Hong Kong residents. They'd almost certainly have those views regardless of whether they were religious or not.

LOL. The bigotry is big on this one.

I am saying my sister was negatively influence by her church congregation to become hostile toward Mainland Chinese.

You described it as "improperly influence" and responded to disagree. Your argument is it is not improper because according to you, HK people are hostile towards Mainland Chinese which makes it acceptable and not surprising. You think racially motivated hostility toward Mainland Chinese is ok.

I didn't want to say something negative about your sister, like implying she easily has her mind changed and is a bit stupid. I apologise for being tactful.

First, mainland Chinese aren't a race. As I was told by the PRC citizen I built a friendship with, there are many different ethnic groups in China.

Second, I didn't say it was ok to be prejudiced against all mainland Chinese. I asked whether it was surprising your sister might have changed her views having lived in Hong Kong for some time, not least because you're suggesting it's just Christians who have influenced her. It could have easily been a non-religious organising, like if she had gotten interested in politics and joining a political group.

I did have something to say. You were of the opinion that "The christian church in HK is part of the anti-China movement". I pointed out that there is no single Christian church in Hong Kong, and that your sister could have been influenced simply by spending a lot of time with HK people rather than because of anything her church itself is doing.

My issue with churches is the image of having a white savior that is pushed on the psyche of Asians to worship the White man and rely upon him there for salvation and purpose. Submission is something to be glorified and it makes you superior morally to nonbelievers. I understand some denominations have Asian Jesus but at least for me I’ve only seen White Jesus.

If we cannot agree on acceptability racially-motivated hostility. There is nothing much to discuss with you I'm afraid.
