"cosplayers", just dressing up.
Only purpose is to try to make China look bad.
If they were real revolutionaries, they would storm the PLA barracks, they don't have enough bullets to stop it if there were really 2 million "revolutionaries" marching as those NED organizations say.

As per my earlier reply, the "2 million" was a figure quoted by RTHK. Pure propaganda! The MSM knows you can state any number you like, as it can not be refuted. Because your figures is as good as mine! This is how the MSM operate!

Guys, what do you think? Is community service suffice what this sort of crime? What does other nations have for thugs disrespecting the national flag or national icons like buildings, or even the Queen?

If only! Unfortunately life is too complicated to accused these Chinese born Hong Kong citizens as foreign spies! I think lawsand punishments should be established similar to the USA or UK. in that way, when thugs are caught, and sentence, China can not be accused of "draconian" and "unfair" punishments! Oh wait. It didn't work with re-education camps in Xinjiang??! They still accused China of being draconian, guantanamo bay? Cough!

Who owns rthk? What's their market share like compared to tvb?

RTHK is owned by the Hong Kong government! I know you can't make it up! Whereas if it was in China, we would be bombarded with "government mouthpiece" etc. But because, they have sided with the thugs. The MSM is rather silence on this.

Our net citizens have been saying this for a long time. RTHK is "食碗面反碗底". So it's high time Hong Kong government do something about it.

I can't think the chair of the BBC would still be in the hot seat after what had happened! Apart for the blaten lies, the aggressive questioning at Police news conference, and, of course the infamous 2 million demonstrators (which analysts have confirmed it to be physically impossible, to quote Scotty, "you canah change the law of physics!") And who could forget the infamous Chinese flag, flying proudly outside RTHK head quarter....... upside down!

"The episode has been much discussed online and, unusually, it was also covered by Chinese state media – including Communist Party mouthpiece People’s Daily, which ran a commentary slamming the estate manager for trying to deceive the visiting officials."

See what I mean, the qoute above came from one of our members here on another thread.

So I was right when I said, any news from China gets reported as "CCP MOUTHPIECE". Whereas, RTHK is also a "mouthpiece" of Hong Kong, but because they've sided with the thugs, that name tag is conviently dropped!

In the long run, Hong Kong government need to introduce licencing of repoters just like all western nations. They called it journalist licence, but it is, in reality, sensorship in disguise!

As I'm typing now, the news discussion on CGTN dialouge programme is discussing the USA expolsion of 60 Chinese journalists from the USA. (with no reasons given)! And non of this is reported by the MSM.

The programme also wonder why are there 29 USA news agencies operating in China, as opposed to only 9 Chinese news agencies operating in the USA, the world's most newsworthy nation in the world?
