Hey Brat, do me favor would ya? Tell your father in one of your prayers that I, Equation, wants to thank him for his dedication and services to his country.
I will brother, he was a very humble guy, he loved his family, (yes, I got lots of big sloppy kisses as a baby) his country, (he loved flying, he was often hungry as a child--he once took a bite of lye soap he thought was cornbread, his Mom died of TB when he was twelve, his Dad sent him to an orphanage, he later was brought to Illinois by his Uncle Henry to help on the farm), and God.( I never saw him go to bed without kneeling beside his bed to pray). He always cared very sincerely about those around him, he had lots of friends, two of the best were his flight engineers, whom accompanied him hunting or fishing, several of his fellow IPs in the C-130, they would often stay at our home when they were passing through, (yes, I loved sitting there and listening for hours as they told "flying stories".... yes it ruined me, but thanks to you guys, I get my "fix", and thanks for your kind thoughts about my Dad, makes me proud.
2014 is just a couple of days away...I too wish all of our SD members and visitors a very happy and prosperous New Year in 2014!
I expect we are going to see a lot of very interesting and exciting things happen and be discussed here on SD, particularly naval and air force technologies that are moving forward and will be launched, deployed, introduced, etc. this year.
...and Equation, hehehe...be careful out there and to try to get home at a decent, earthly hour New Year's morning!

Your life has been changed forever!
All five of ours are now grown and out of the house. We now have nine grandchildren too! Unbelievable experiences. Many beautiful, wonderful, happy experiences. Some sad too. But that is all a part of life, and how you react to what happens is more important than what happens.

Thanks Jeff and yes that was my first child, lots of sleepiness nights and changing lots of nappies lol
He's now 7 months his teething has started and he can sit up which is great
It's really a blessing and also hard work by when I get home after the end of the week it's just great lift him up and see him smile, makes it all worth it
Wow you have a big family, bigger the better! You are kept busy with loved ones around that's the best part
