Wow, the first time we see yj12 clearly, on an actual planaf plane. It only took, what, five years?

Well, it's among the clearest pictures we've had yet, but I think we had images and videos showing it aboard PLANAF H-6Gs as early as 2016 if not earlier.

Unless you're talking about some blurry things like in the images above the last one, I must've missed those.

Also, I am getting 7.55 meter length and precisely 0.5 m diameter of the missile body, just at the edges of the intake.

My blurry might be different to yours; though in huitong's segment for YJ-12 he has some decent pictures of YJ-12 aboard in service H-6s (that could only be H-6Gs). Includes a gif of an H-6G launching a YJ-12 taken from aboard the aircraft.
I also specifically remember a video clip from 2016 where we see an H-6G launch a YJ-12 taken from a nearby aircraft.

Also, "clear images" in my post was also referring to the fact we have the whole plane and whole missile visible, for very easy measurements. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. A big missile.

Will we ever get photos of H6 carrying more than two of them? Or more than 4?

Well that's something else entirely vs what you said about the first time clearly seeing YJ-12 carried by a PLANAF aircraft.

H-6J should be able to carry at least 4 YJ-12s, potentially 6.
So almost certainly yes to the first question, possibly yes to the second question.

But we're obviously not going to see any such pictures regularly just like how we only have very few pictures of H-6K carrying 6 KD-20s and they routinely only carry 2 KD-20s if any at all.
