last year during two sessions of NPC. The deputy commander of the PLAAF and official representative in NPC has made it clear that. we have no technical bottlenecks to develop H-20 bomber and this program exist.
Right.

Y-30 project undertaking by Shaanxi Aircraft Corporation.
Even worse then. XAC have two design teams and we don't know what the heck they are doing.

If it was me I would put them at work on the H-20 with quad WS-10 engines and some twin WS-20 engine transport.

this is what i m saying, next generation Bomber program exist and going well.

XAC has indeed two design teams. Transport aircraft team is working on large strategic airlifter. at least we can say this, project is in R&D phase. there are so many research papers and tender announcement.

This paper is from an assistant professor of the naval aviation college in Shandong, what's the evidence XAC is working on it?

i just given the example, this is a research paper related with super heavy transport aircraft.

There are rumors, XAC is working on heavy strategic airlifter. but we don't have authentic information.

Here is a video about the H-20 that I find to contain notable insights. Below is a summary of its key points.
  1. The H-20 underwent a redesign several years ago to meet new operational requirements.
  2. The H-20 is expected to be a supersonic flying-wing stealth bomber. Its supersonic capability primarily aims to extend the range of air-launched missiles.
  3. With an estimated combat radius of 5,000–8,000 kilometers and the range of its air-launched missiles, the H-20 will be capable of striking the continental United States.
  4. Like the B-21, the H-20 will also support electronic warfare, serve as an early-warning/AWACS platform, command UAVs, and carry air-to-air missiles (such as the PL-17).

It's a rehash of everything already said here.

Serve as an awacs platform, this raise the strong possibility that embedded radar array in leading edge

I have been talking about all of these functions here, especially about working as an AWACS and also working as a long range AA platform. Some people dismissed the idea saying a stealth platform cannot work as an AWACS since the stealth will be compromised.

I think AESA with constantly changing frequency/amplitude and other variations will make it difficult to detect a plane through radar emission. So, it will still be able to remain stealthy but work as a powerful AESA AWACS that is less vulnerable compared to non stealthy AWACS planes.
