This appears not to be a weibo but a Chinese military forum, which I didn't know still existed.
That said they've cried wolf so many times I'd be skeptical until at least a blurry photo is out.
Keep in mind both countries had vastly more aircraft design/build experience than China.
They have more propeller plane experience. China has the exact same experience in the jet age with first fighter being made in the 1950s.
How many large jet aircraft has China designed and built? How many clean-sheet jet aircraft, of any stripe, has China designed and built? Now compare that to Russia and the US. It's not even close.
