guess i remembered wrong, i wonder where got the 220km number. but thanks for the clarification. this actually makes sense if they want to use this thing on Taiwan, they will need 290km to sufficiently cover its west coast.
In the early 2010s the AR3 370mm variant had a range of 220km.
Needless to say, over the years with technology it has been improved.
But both then and now, the domestic equivalent should have a longer range than the listed number for export. A range in excess of 300km would be very appropriate for the 370mm variant for Taiwan missions

The artillery brigades aren't exactly well standardized either.
Some have more rocket artillery battalions than others.
The GAs in ETC are more rocket heavy.
Of course. As i wrote earlier, some have 50% more heavy mlrs. Tube arty pieces also differ. Some commands have 2, other 3 brigades, etc.
I just wish we had a source similar to that arab language export promo concerning 300mm rockets having a variant reaching 200 km. Its something that i personally find more than plausible for the PLA but its also understandable that china would not be advertising it.
