thats what iwas was thinking i figuered it would be like the m 203 but then why would they want a GP 25 on a type 95 instead of a type 91?

Well, I think the grenades of type 87 and type 91 are the same, but I've never heard about the connections.

As for the gun, I think that's China's new Laser gun.

PS, if I could, I would design a grenade launching pistol, too, shoots flares, shot gun, and grenade, just an idea.

the grenade launcher on the type 95 is a russian GP 25 witch fires cassles 40 mm ammo not 35 mm like the 87 and 91 the other picture is probably an atempt to make an equivelent to the U.S. XM 29 O.I.C.W. project its probably an airburst grenade launcher on a type 95 with a fire control computer in ghost recon 2 it was called the type 95P system

i dont know its the only picture ive seen of it and theres no info with it but i would assume yes thats probably why the scope is so big so the computer that sets airburst time will fit i hope thats what you ment by adjust it

grenade pistols do exist, so do shotgun pistols.

though most of them are custom made.

the problem with designing such a weapon would be standardizing ammunition, which would mean smaller grenades or larger shotgun shells, flares don't matter because it still is effecient if smaller or larger. practically it's possible but is it really worth it. i can imagine that range would suffer and potentially being an extremely dangerous weapon to the wielder. would have pretty simple design though and probably very cheap.
