Golly is right, that it's Soviet;)
It's prewar passenger hydrofoil cat by V.A.Gartvig. It was used in 1940 between Sochi and Sukhumi on Black Sea coast, carrying 130 passengers at 50 knots. With the beginning of war the engines were used for torpedo boats and the boat was destroyed in 1942 when Germans were near Tuapse.

@ Golly: I figured they'd be interested in learning the history of such a unique (and lackluster as it turned out) aircraft. But, anyway, as you wish, Golly!

Well by giving the history of that aircraft before your right awnser is noted spoils the possibility from others to participate if they would tough their awnser would be right instead of yours. You are free to post the history alongside with your turn (Tough I agree that it is an unique aircraft and almoust deserves its own thread)
