Still effective but far from perfect. Tiltrotors perform best in transportation tasks, as they have lower hover efficiency than normal helicopters, and rotors tend to interfere with wing payloads.
Said to be different shots of the tiltrotor technological demonstrator platform from Harbin AC, likely taken during its recent test flight. Posted by @数性体 on Weibo.

I don't know if it's just the angle and perception, but for the first image here, compared to the first image of it from last year, the tail area appears to be shorter in length. Although looking at it now actually, you can clearly tell this is a more refined demonstrator/prototype compared to that first one seen.
