concept from last year , or something else ?
The AVIC one is for commercial purpose

That, or related projects.

this one too ..

Changfei began to apply for approval for the construction of a heavy-duty helicopter research and production base..

I am under the impression that this "heavy-type helicopter" research and production project is actually related to, if not directly belongs to #2.

Just for fun: Found at Weibo … China’s rumoured new heavy combat helicopter as product of a RAH-66 „Comanche“ & a Ka-52 „Havoc“ after a love affair.

Another CG on what the next-gen heavy attack helicopter could look like, based on what has been publicly known/figured out so far. Made by Big Bun CG on Weibo.

Do note that this IS NOT an official and accurate artistic representation of what said attack helicopter would eventually look like.

So a skinnier sb-1 with wing stubs? Could a co-axial ah-56/ka-52 be possible? The CG looks a bit light for a heavy attack helicopter.

Shouldn't we have a thread in the army forum for this thing?

There's been a lot of rumours about this heavy attack helicopters recently, now that Guancha team is back in the office after CNY they uploaded their two missing CNY podcasts to Qingting FM in which Yankee very confidently said the heavy attack helicopter has already completed the maiden flight and is currently undergoing more flight testing, so we should be able to see images of it any day now.

Cute Orca was hinting at something similar when he was talking about Z-10ME on display in Singapore. He said something like "if a customer tells you he's actually looking for a helicopter more like Ka-52 after checking out Z-10 the correct response is not to try to convince him that Z-10 is somehow better for his needs, the correct response should be I can build you a better Ka-52".

Here's yankee on this subject just 4 days ago:

就几把气人,鳖重武直都收费快俩月了几把你不干了,这赢的一点意思都没有
"It's very upsetting, the Chinese heavy attack helicopter has completed maiden flight nearly two month ago and now they throw in the towel (on FARA), making this win much less meaningful".

Yankee previously made a video comparing progress on the two projects.

We've kept the Z-10, Z-20, Z-19 threads and other helicopter threads in the Air Force part of the forum historically, for better or worse.

It may be that with this new project that we will do a reorganization.

For now, discussion about this new project are better held here.

It's just a CGI, so we do not know what the real thing looks like.

That said, the depiction of this CGI of course shows a similar propulsion configuration to S-97 and SB-1, aka a co axial rotor design with a pusher propeller.

It's impossible to tell how big the CGI is meant to be in terms of weight class, besides an attack helicopter tends to be more slim in fuselage profile anyhow than a transport helicopter (like SB-1).

For example, see the below image from a few years ago when an attack helicopter variant of SB-1 was proposed alongside the standard SB-1.

A high-resolution image of that golden model of a certain compound helicopter.
