I once heard an anecdote about an American semiconductor company that had two fabs in the US and two fabs in Asia. The company's Asian fabs consistently achieved much better yields than the US fabs. The Asian fabs were upgraded first to the next process node and quickly reached 90+% yields while the US fabs still struggled to get 60% yields on the previous generation process node. Instead of also upgrading the US fabs to the next process node, the company ended up just shutting them down. Attitudes shown in the glassdoor reviews explain a lot of why fabs of the same company with the same access to technical know-how, equipment, procedures, etc. can perform so differently. They applied to work in a semiconductor company and complained about mask?

Taiwan has been gripped by a chronic shortage of eggs for months, causing their price to skyrocket and rationing to be introduced in many supermarkets.
After struggling for months to buy his favourite food, the boyfriend – a university student and self-confessed egg fanatic – was surprised to find large, brown-coloured native eggs at the home of his girlfriend.
The man then enjoyed a feast of eggs, took six of them home and even showed them off online, he said in an anonymous post on Taiwan’s social networking platform Dcard on April 10.
Realising that his girlfriend was lying, the man cross-examined her and was stunned to discover that the eggs actually came from two rich men she had been seeing behind his back.
She provided "companionship" work to two rich single men, who paid her NT$40,000 (US$1,300) a month.
His girlfriend said it was the fastest way to make money, asking him: “If I don’t make money myself, are you going to pay my bills?”
I guess as long as she can keep getting more eggs, it must be okayShe insisted that she did not do anything to betray her boyfriend.
After it went viral, the woman updated the post, explaining that the pair had decided not to break up.
