The Prime Site For VIPERs All Around The World Has Confirmed That A SU30 MKI Was Hit By An AMRAAM On 27th Feb 2019 ...

Viper-net is sourcing the claim from AFM April 2020, which is probably sourcing it from PAF's claims. But the problem remains the same. The only actual 'confirmation' of a hit would be a visual (or an admission from the IAF.) A visual wouldn't make sense, given what we know about the distance the engagement took place at. As far as I've heard, it was based on a radar track.

In any case, what we know for sure is that the Flanker dived and bugged out from the fight. So tactically speaking, it was neutralized, regardless of whether it was splashed or not.

It seams that the Fuerza Aeriea Columbiana (FAC ) has made the decision that the next fighter jet will be the F16 block 70 V of Lockheed Martin. The next big decision is for the Colombian government to approve the buy and to find the funds.(photos Lockheed Martin)

A number of airforces around the world are currently upgrading their existing F-16 fleet to the "V" standard which comes with it the air-cooled APG-83 AESA radar. There had been numerous speculations regarding the new radar range performance because of cooling capacity limitation. Air Force magazine Sep 2018 edition may even have suggested indirectly that its performance is inferior to that of the APG-80 liquid cooled AESA radar installed on the Block 60 (rated to have a range detection in excess of 110 kms against a 1m2 target).

Whilst there is no reliable number published to-date, the APG-83 range performance may be inadvertently leaked from an unclassified 2018 document pertaining to the Slovakia acquisition of its tactical fighter.

A detection range of 160 km against a 2m2 target translates to a 135 km detection range of a 1m2 target, This is clearly better than the detection range of the APG-80.
Hi could you please tell me where can I find this document?

If you think about it, it's pretty crazy if not downright amazing that the Viper would've had a potentially 50++ year continous production run when all is said and done.
Definitely unheard of for a 'lightweight' fighter.
The F15 Eagle has an even longer run!
