On May 13, a reporter from the District Media Convergence Center interviewed veteran Lu Xiaobo. During the interview, Lu shared his unforgettable military career, focusing on the story behind his First-Class Merit award.
"At 1:00 PM on September 17, 2015, our unit received an urgent notification from relevant departments of Shenyang City and the Foreign Affairs Management Division of the Public Security Bureau: an illegally present foreign active-duty military personnel was operating within the consular district, posing a high risk of sabotage and political repercussions. We were instructed to enhance security measures immediately. Upon receiving the notification, the brigade immediately activated its emergency response plan and formed nine three-person apprehension teams for the search and arrest mission. At that moment, I sensed the gravity of the situation—diplomacy is no trivial matter, and every incident is politically connected. This mission must be executed flawlessly, with zero room for error. After over two hours of searching, the suspect was finally located at a travel agency across from the U.S. Consulate General in Shenyang. Through intelligence cross-referencing and analysis, his identity was confirmed. Ultimately, he was apprehended at a heavy cost, with one military dagger, one handgun, and 20 rounds of ammunition seized." He stated that although he had handled numerous emergencies before, participating in this major apprehension operation left a deep and lasting impression on him.

Okay, well, this belongs here.

I initially had some doubts about whether this was "officially leaked" or not, but after seeing the reactions from some on the CN side.. Yeah

Most people are treating it humourously in the Shenyang thread, but make no mistake, this is a problem. Perhaps not too much is revealed in these images, but the potential should be cause for concern.
