lol, if I had been this guy knowing your positings here and I would have a part of my family in the mainland China I wouldn't say anything else than that!

Do you think China is North Korea? People in China talks politics and criticize their government ALL THE TIME, you only get in trouble when you try to organize movement that want to stir up trouble for the government.

It's shocking, but certainly not unexpected, that a kleptocratic mafia state like that of China would execute such acts; one would unfortunately expect this to worsen as China fortifies its political and economic influence abroad.

Seems to me Guo just says anything to appease the China paranoia and haters wanted to hear. I'm sure even the CIA already knew the MSS conducts ops here in the US.

As far as China being a kleptocratic mafia state, that's far fetch considering the US and a doze other Western nations had colonized and occupy native land till this day. No other countries government can ever uplift 800 million people out of poverty and the another hundreds of millions more into middle class status like China has. And China did it without the use of "god" and democracy. That is nothing to sneeze about.:rolleyes:o_O

Honestly the oddest thing that strikes me about this case is how rich Guo is and his supposed history of anti-CCP. Everybody in China knows, if you're rich, you own a big business, then you're on the good side of the government. If not, they'll find any reason to lock you up; you don't become rich and anti-government in China, biting the hand that protects your business. If his family was pro-democracy and his brother was killed in TianAnMen, it seems that that would be in his background at some point and he would be investigated for that long before he made any headway into China's inner government circles.

If his story is that he was doing business and they tried to screw him or the CCP asked too much of him and as a result, he fled, I'd find that story more believable. But to have accumulated this much wealth and prominence while being from an anti-CCP family in China from earlier than 1989? What's not right here?

There is CCP and then there are corrupt official with 官二代 2nd generation of government official that want to eat up other people's company. From what I heard, some official are using anti-corruption to eat up other people's company. Another tactics they use is lend out money to corporation and force them to repay early or else they consider you to be bankrupt and eat up the corporation. This is what Guo is facing. He is not a anti-CCP from the video that he is uploading, and he still have some contacts with "old party members". I think he also mentioned that he is was working as an operative for China "not the spy type" but undercover businessmen that facilitate negotiations and other business dealings for the benefit of China. He is technically blackmailing some of the official within CCP to remove the criminal charge that was put on him, his family, staff and company unfairly. I think in one youtube video, he mentioned that one company in China wanted to "merge" with his company, but he refused, and that lead to the current situation. Guo's family was imprisoned, some of the staff and imprisoned.

Funny thing was that the accused crime should be trialed in Beijing since that is where he does business, but they got his family and staff to 天津 TianJin for the trials.
No, he's completely anti-CCP! He says his brother was killed in TianAnMen, and he's been waiting from then to change China into a democracy and overthrow the government. He says he loves China and Chinese people but hates the government (an echo of what delusional white people love to say) and the world needs the USA in power to keep order or it will be a man-eat-man world. It may not be in the Youtube video you saw but he said that. Even with that attitude hidden as best he could, with that past, I don't see how he could have become prominent in China. Chinese agents run very thorough background checks and it's almost impossible for someone to get away with that unless something special or deliberate happened.

It's almost as if he's talking from a script to say exactly all the nonsense that uninformed Americans want to hear, to the word. To someone who actually understands China, though, something does not fit right, big time.

Way too much time and attention has already been given to that traitorous Gordan Chan 2.0, the less said about him here the better.

If even 1% of what he is claiming is true, we would have died of 'natural causes' long before he has a chance to shoot his mouth off.

The only reason he is making all this noise is because his shady past business dealings are catching up with him, so he is trying to magically transform his economic crimes into political crimes to resist the Interpol warrant on his head.

The only reason he might know of corrupt dealings by some CCP officials is because he was the one bribing them.

What ever happened to the guy with China's nuclear codes? This reminds me of that and like that case China has nothing to worry about. If this guy were a true anti-communist and he had the names of 25,000 spies working for China in the US, he just made moot a lot of information the US could've used covertly. Instead he's using his valuable to the US information for his own personal gain. Now do you think this guy has real information? Shouldn't the US be angry at him for alerting Beijing to protect their assets? Billionaire in China from a system the US charges is corrupt in the first place. Yeah all the traitors that run to the US made their money the honest way. And Harry Wu turned out to be a child molester and a liar which is why the US media silently stopped using him as an expert on China. He just disappeared from TV and then news he dies in Central America where its known in the states men go to have illegal sex with children.

You don't need to request political asylum if you had intelligence on 25000 spies for China in the US. Protection would've been given without any request.

I said all along that all the claims and allegations Guo has been making were based entirely on his personal need to avoid the consequences of the corrupt and illegal ways he made his billions in China.

So he is making all these entirely baseless claims to magically make his economic crimes (can be extradited especially with an active Interpol warrant on his head) into political ones so he can bribe some US politicians with massive campaign contributions to champion resisting Chinese extradition demands with the manufactured risk of political persecution excuse.

For that, this morally bankrupt criminal would be willing to make up and say anything he thinks will help is cause, so on that basis alone, we cannot trust a single word he says. But other than his word, he has thus far provided zero verificable proof for his allegations, which look more and more like pure made up smearing.

But, because his claims paint China in a bad light, the western media is lapping up every word without any of the 'balance' they insist on injecting when forced to report on anything remotely positive about China.
