Double posting & other technical problems at SDF

Can anyone please show me how to post links as a box preview like the one below? Thanks.

It seems to only work when I quote someone else's posted links.

When I insert the links myself it looks like this:

Just paste or type the address. Don't use insert link.

Yes copying and pasting seems to work better for the preview box but it also depends on the website your giving the link to. Not all seems to create a preview box.
