You can start off by not using terms like ccp, which is Sinophobia 101. The correct term is cpc. Although in this case, I think you are asking about pla, so I am changing subject to that
Thanks for that heads-up, tphuang. I must admit I'm not well versed in Sinophobia, and I'll educate myself better to avoid further disrespectful posts. As that doesn't reflect at all my actual belief or even bias I may have.

I hope that the people that I did upset still had a good day and may be assured that no harm was intended.

Maybe this thread could be archived?

It's probably fine if this thread continues, even if the very start weren't all that ideal.

With that said, there's simply the 'problem' of how to even really continue this thread, since stuff about ‘Data link systems’ for PLA is highly classified, and not really something we can get much info about.
And the open source stuff about it, is similarly also very scarce and likely not trustworthy (or at the very least, we can't put much confidence in them).

There might actually be some vague/general stuff about it in some military journals, papers and the likes in China, but I don't know how to really access them (we do get some 'military tech papers' in some of the other threads), not to mention finding the specific papers on datalinks and the likes.

It may be worth clarifying that I'm not looking for anything that would be classified. OPSEC exists for a reason and I wouldn't even look at anything not from an open source. I simply have a thing for designations and dates.
Magazines are great, that'd be a good start, thanks for pointing that way out.
Anyway, I'll report back what I can find, and will take great care to crosscheck my sources, with reinforced attention to understand where they come from in the first place.

Cheers
