It appears the smokestack is undergoing modifications because of performance issues seen during the recent sea trials. Exhaust gases from the funnel have been interfering with the radar and satellite comms on the top of the mast.

So we can likely expect at least 1-2 additional sea trials following these adjustments before the carrier is commissioned.
Why do you think so? Because of the scaffold? It will be a major fuck-up in history of engineering if the the deckhouse is modified at this stage, that is the metal beams and plates are torch cut off and reshaped and welded back in mid-air with all antennas being removed and re-installed and cables being rerouted.

Of course. On the other hand, re-shaping of the exhaust top-cap is nothing unusual and doesn't take much effort.

Another image update. The scaffolding on the island has been largely removed.

In that case, if we take those photos from a Weibo post, and the original poster on Weibo did not quote your name, how do we even know it was you who posted the photos in the first place?

Perhaps you can add watermark to your future photos?
Well you can't of course if the one who took it in the first place was not quoting me, I guess that is one of the "blessings" of the option of downloading pictures and then re-post them somewhere else.

On Shipspotting there is blue band under each picture stating the Copyright, though that band disappears when downloading the picture.
