What made you think it is an official video? It doesn‘t have any CCTV watermark.

It's a news feature on the browser so I take it that it's official seeing how sensitive things have become with such videos.

It is not sensitive because it is mostly CGI (Computer generated Images) where J35 and KJ600 were shown. And the real video footages were taken from previously aired video by CCTV. And I doubt the CGI part of the video is official.

Highly doubt first catapult launch will be J35. Usually test new systems with mature/tested systems, never test 2 new systems at the same time.

Note the very clear scorching of deflector on Cat #2. There's been more than a few launches that's for sure.

It would be spectacular, though entirely improbable, to see the KJ-600 and J-35s launch live on TV from the Fujian and do their parade flyover.

Note the very clear scorching of deflector on Cat #2. There's been more than a few launches that's for sure.

However, it also suggests that it's still some way from entering service, as the other two deflectors show no visible scorch marks.
