Heard the white dot are fire fighting system. Tie down point doesn't make sense because it is not the flight deck.

If you look at post #5768 by @Lime, you will see that the width of the elevator opening is significantly longer than the depth:

Compare to the Shandong, which has a pretty much equal depth and width:山东舰电梯.JPG

This would indicate to me that the 003 has a significantly wider elevator and hanger opening.

That means it wouldn't be able to take in 2 J-15s then.
One could say that it is conservative or lazy engineering to keep the legacy lifts.

I'm a positive person though and I look at it glass half full. It could be the archaic elevator unit is super-reliable and efficient enough for PLAN aviation needs that the bean-counters are satisfied to carryon with it.

This would indicate to me that the 003 has a significantly wider elevator and hanger opening.
If I recall Shandong's elevator is 16×16m.
Type 003 elevator's depth is around 18m so the width could be aroumd 20m or more

It would be nice for the 003 elevator to be even a little bit bigger. At least the pointy bit in front of the J-15 nose won't have to be bent to conform to lift clearance :)
