I get "Block Module A" with my translator for the one at the top. It is going to where A is.

On the second, notch in the middle plate might be the starboard lift.

As i mentioned in a previous post, I believe 003 will have a Port lift. This was not based on imagery but on the assumption the PLAN will seek to achieve the highest sortie rate possible within the design, and the approximate dimensions of the ship appear large enough to accommodate one. A port-side lift would assist with this. 左舷机库门位置, if correct, suggests there will be a port-side lift.

The original rumors suggested 3 catapults and 2 elevators. For a ship this size, only having 2 elevators is a highly questionable design choice. Even if each elevator is extra-large and can fit 2 aircraft to support a high sortie rate, having one elevator knocked out or malfunctioning means a 50% penalty to air operations. I think 3 or 4 elevators is more reasonable, including at least one port side elevator.

Even if one similar image from this series was posted on Tuesday, these for are slightly different and eventually reveal some more details on the latest progress on the Type 003 aircraft carrier. Also - even if not entirely sure - there seems to be the side hangar openings visible on starboard?

Why can't you stop for the time being posting the recent controversial photos like for 003 to Twitter and facebook especially big names like Deino with thousands of followers? When there's an ongoing investigation for leaks? Do you want another Chinese forum to get closed after cjdby?
dude, obviously you don't know what this site is about

I'm not entirely sure if those are hangar openings. Even though the picture quality isn't amazing, I would have expected hangar openings to be quite distinct and obvious even at this distance.
Those points look semi circular outlines on the side of the hull but the hull itself seems solid in that location. Especially in the more rear location, it looks like that part of the hull is solid and not open like the elevator opening would be. Given the way that the ship would be constructed, they would simply leave an opening in the modules there, which is what we would expect.

So to be honest, I'm unsure.

On the one hand, given the level of completion of the ship's hangar/flight deck modules at that part of the amidships area, I would have expected to see openings for the elevator, potentially in the areas you pointed out -- but at the same time the images so far simply don't look like elevator openings because the hull in those locations look solid.

Maybe it has weather/blast doors fitted and closed, making it appear solid from the distance?

Not impossible, but those mechanisms probably wouldn't be fitted at this stage of construction.

Also, the aft location Deino was referring to looks like the wall still has compartments (i.e.: is solid)
