The last position of the KJ-600 mockup was right next to the island and the J-35 one was very close by. Both may be obscured from view in these images. Thats in addition of the images themselves being rather blurry.

For realistic drill, mock-ups should be tied down in the hangar and elevated to deck only at sea.

We don't know for sure if that is a minimum radius turn or just a normal turn.

Aircraft carriers are military equipment with special strategic significance. Everybody know what it means when they see a CSG on the sea or on the media. It is inevitable to put CV18 into service as soon as possible and demonstrate its combat capabilities while taking into account current complex international environment. I would not be surprised even if the sea trial period is quitely short or there are any other key scenes published officially in the following sea trials.

That was why they spend so much time in fitting out the ship. All the preparations were done to put CV18 into service as soon as possible.
