NYTimes claiming that China's true covid death toll is significantly higher? Hmm when have I heard that before?

Prophecy. Like I said before if the Chinese goverment let this virus spread wildly they are not going to count the death, but i think the numbers are more likely to be from 300K to 400K deaths.
I wouldn't trust this from this same select group from New York Times. They have been pushing this narrative repeatedly as new revelation. see
Note the graph only shows the reported covid death rate for countries other than China.
They are dishonestly comparing China mortality rates against reported covid rates from selected countries. We know that the mortality rate in the US is also higher than the reported Covid death as evidenced by the reduced US life expectancy.

Chinese scientists published first study on long COVID at 3 years after primary infection
Chinese scientists have published the first study on long COVID three years after the primary infection.
According to the latest study jointly conducted by teams led by Cao Bin from China-Japan Friendship Hospital and Zhang Dingyu, head of Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, approximately half of COVID-19 survivors exhibited at least one sequelae symptom after three years from the onset of symptoms.
The most prevalent long COVID symptoms reported were fatigue or muscle weakness, and hair loss. The study, * published in The Lancet’s respiratory medicine version on December 21, noted that compared with survivors without long COVID, those with long COVID had a higher proportion of re-infection and were more prone to pneumonia after re-infection….

What happened to the Western prediction of 600 million dead in China after zero COVID...? The US still butthurt over being the worst at handling a pandemic after proclaiming they were the most prepared. These little things preoccupy their minds.
You reached this conclusion just by "thinking"? Making up a number without solid data input is as bad as delibrately under reporting.

It is the same "method" of calling Chinese dumping/predatory pricing by using their production cost as benchmark instead of China's domestic cost. They say since I am bad in keeping people alive, China must be worse or at least equally bad.
Simple math base on the presumed death rate of SARS COV2 variant at the time and how fast the virus could spread base on population density before the epidemic burns out itself.
At the end of the day doesn't matter I said if they let this virus spread they would not count the death and guess what?
Is over move on.
