Last I checked, Taiwan has a population of 24 million. 750k vaccines represents only 3% of the population, and that's only for one dose. Let's see how many vaccines the US will keep sending to TW.

The issue isn't the effectiveness of the initiative.

As you can see, it makes for great headlines and for great optics.
