Like, most of these concentrators, ventilators and masks are made in Chyna! Look at Germany, sending 80 million KN95 masks. Where are the KN95 masks made?

Modi, his gang, his Indian media, and the Jai Hinds are hellbent to not give China any credit for helping India out. The sad part of this is that China still needs to help India. Despite being a thankless job. Because first of all, its for humanitarian sake. But secondly and more importantly, this Covid-19 crisis in India could spread to around the world, potentially prolonging the pandemic. More misery for all. Lets see if anyone is gonna condemn India when that happens.

That being said, if India continues politicking and stupidity over actually trying to solve its crisis. India needs to suffer a global quarantine. Borders need to be closed to India. Movements in and out of India needs to be restricted. For how, long? For as long as it takes.

No one in the Indian and Western media has even begin to talk about the economic price that India is due to pay for this disaster. Suffice to say, its gonna be worse than 2020. As Jayant Bhandari puts it, India's economy is not gonna look good coming out of this:

The sad pathetic truth is that much of this celebrated western aid is surplus, or even rejected medial gear that western countries horded early in the pandemic, which they then latter haughtily rejected on superficial grounds.

The KN95 masks would be a prime example, because they used ear loops rather than head ties to secure.

This self promoting charity is both tokenism in scale and scope, and entirely dependent on the west continuing to see a reduction in Covid cases themselves.

If the Indian variants cause a resurgence in cases and even more waves in the west, not only will this charity stop, but the west will just flex their financial muscle and strip the world markets of essential medial supplies once more, just like how they did the first time around.

China is the only player who can have any chance of making a meaningful and sustained impact on India’s Covid catastrophe, but Chinese help isn’t welcome and Modi would rather see bodies piled high in the streets than accept Chinese help, so I say they are beyond help and it is better to quarentine the whole country and let them stew in the mess of their own making without dragging the rest of the world down with them.

You know what makes it worse for all these substandard and rejected gears they've hoarded and now given to India.

It'll be counted as part of their "foreign aid" donation that the west keeps louding to the world. Just like all those money going to Hong Kong aiding insurrection counts as foreign aids.

It's funny I have colleagues that are so right wing (the Britain for the British kind). That they absolutely loath given foreign aids. (They think it's handouts, and charity should start at home type.) And then they found I'm in agreement with them (because I know it's interference disguised as hand outs). Their brains don't compute. Lol.

Some crazy woman spouting crap about India's reputation, seriously, people are literally dying in the streets of Delhi and they're worried about the reputation of the country, newsflash, no one thought much of India before covid-19 and they won't think much worse of it after!

It just sums up what it means to be 'Indian', needlessly worried about geopolitics, keeping up with the joneses and for what, so your people can die! Well India is so fond of making up ridiculous superlatives, 'Most cost efficient space program' etc, they can now add 'India country with the fastest rising caseload in the Covid-19 pandemic'

Hope its worth it!

Watched the same program (the Print youtube) and while I agree with everything you said about the Indian's misplaced arrogance and self delusions as some great power, she was quite tamed and introspective unlike the vast majority of the Jai Hind media (WION anyone?) that's high in arrogance but very low on substance.

Indian Govt to go ahead with organizing its religious pilgrimage (millions expected to attend, in a congested environment).
