It looks like a variant with a double mutation is a big factor in the surge of cases in India.

It accounts for 61% of cases in Maharashtra which is the epicentre.
And now it is spreading to the rest of India.

Given what we now know, every country in the world should be banning travel from India.

Oxford University study is basically saying covid-19 causes blood clots 95 times more than general population that didn't contract the virus. And Pfizer and Moderna vaccines also cause blood clots at the similar rate as of AstraZeneca vaccine.

It's been academically documented that the biggest purveyor of fake news or disinformation on Covid-19 are the Americans. There's a study done by McGill or McMaster University that posited the unfortunate misinformation spearheaded by the irresponsible fascist from the land of deplorables.

ISTANBUL -- Turkey announced that the Sinovac Biotech's COVID-19 vaccine is "significantly effective" after analyzing results from the inoculation of more than 7.5 million people with the Chinese doses.

With the efficacy of Chinese vaccines under scrutiny, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca told reporters late Monday that the positive case ratio for people aged 65 and older had halved to 8.2% from 17.7% since the program started in mid-January, and that the ratio for health care workers fell to 1.3% from 5.3%.

The hospitalization ratio for senior citizens dropped to 31% from 57.4% during the same period, and to 0.78% from 3.1% for medics.
