C929 mid-fuselage (?) delivery countdown. I can't read the number of days on the counter due to the poor image quality. Does anyone have a better version, or perhaps an article or press release on this?

After the opening ceremony, the participants broke up into six groups to coordinate efforts in areas of aerodynamics, fuselage structure, composite materials, avionics, mechanical systems, and propulsion. 　　4月15日，C929项目联合攻关启动大会在中国商飞公司召开。中国工程院党组成员、副院长、院士李仲平，国务院大型飞机重大专项专家咨询委员会主任委员、中国工程院院士张彦仲，中国商飞公司党委书记、董事长贺东风，党委常委、副总经理沈波、戚学锋，中国工程院院士、中国商飞公司首席科学家吴光辉和来自全国21家高校、43家合作单位、7家民航企业的14位院士、280多名专家学者，以及科学技术部、工业和信息化部、中国民用航空局有关领导出席会议。

　　贺东风感谢各位院士、专家对大飞机事业的长期支持和辛勤付出。他表示，作为我国第一款自主研制的洲际客机，C929对于完善国产商用飞机谱系，带动商用飞机产业发展，具有十分重要的意义，中国商飞公司欢迎更多合作伙伴共享共赢大飞机的机遇与未来。

　　本次大会开幕后，与会专家分为总体气动、机体结构、复材结构、航电电气、机械系统、推进系统等6个专题组，开展为期一周的研讨。

I think Chinese numerology concetrates more on lucky numbers. So 919, 929 and 939 all contain two 9s which is auspicious. This is also why there will never be a 949 plane.

I thought the C929 had died due to the Ukraine war

but seems like if anything Chinese co-operation with Russia in the civil aviation sector has increased since the war since the Western company's pilled out

I guess its their loss

one mans loss is another mans gain
