Also, upon closer inspection GJ-11 has built in EOTS. It is not present in GJ-21 though.

It would probably be more accurate to say we didn't see the EO sensor fairing on the GJ-21 at the parade (which by all accounts was a real flying airframe).

I would be surprised if a regular equivalent in service GJ-21 lacked the EO sensor.

What engine is it using tho that's the question

It's a domestic engine without afterburner. Whether it's WS-13E, WS-21 or WS-19, is not super consequential at this stage tbh.

Discussion continued from the H-20 thread.

This is a CH-7. Which... is kinda underwhelming with the presence of the twin canted vertical stabilizers, given how we've already seen the GJ-11/21, GJ-X and WZ-X flying around without vertical stabilizers.

Well, they seem to be detachable so perhaps it's only a safety measure for early flight testing?

CH-7 is an industry project, so IMO it doesn't really matter how impressive it is.

They could fly test it a few times and shelve it forever -- at this point there are much bigger fish to fry, such that CH-7 is almost trivial by comparison.
