wing sweep and leading edge alignments suggests military. Lambda wings just add structural complexity and weight for civilian use unless military purpose where the tradeoffs are justified
At this point China can probably get away with putting models out for satellite just to throw the analysts off. They can’t afford to not take them seriously.
In fact I‘m not … but the shape IMO does not look like a civilian UAV!
By the way, a friend of mine who is satellite analyst came up with an interesting idea:
„A fun thought - the tent over the front of that new jet, maybe this is a manned demonstrator with a sun shade over the cockpit? Image was from June so it'd be hot.“
So maybe something like the Scaled Composites Model 401 Sierra??
a variation: the nose cone appears dislocated, could it be detached for servicing and the tent a sunshade for maintainers?
