Any functioning technique available to recover an EMALS launched drone about such a container ship? Yes it can be parachute down but i guess if it lands in water that's not going to do it much good. Some kind of steering parachute/ flotation device? Maybe some towable platform where the drone can land via chute and then winched back aboard?

Wait so are the drones behind the container ship meant for the container ship modules and not the Type 076?
Maybe it's meant to search target then be used similar to a loitering munition?

I don't think there is any reason to land back on the ship. XQ-58 is claimed to be as cheap as 2M USD per aircraft which is no more expensive than a cruise missile. China's version is likely far cheaper hence they could be expendable if landing near friendly forces are not available.

The Valkrie weights 2.7 tonnes and the EMALs specification is a maximum 2 tonnes.
So presumably a Chinese version would be somewhat smaller and cheaper.

I don't expect it to be the same exact model of EMALS advertised, they don't actually look the same if you look closely. They could easily be using a slightly souped up version of it. Valkyrie is already a tiny drone with barely any internal payload.
