Maybe a stopgap can be an unmanned cargo glider that is carried into the air by multiple TP500s or 2000s? I don't know the exact reason they went out of style but I think the Germans were using them in WW2.

The roles played by military gliders have been taken over by helicopters since the Korean War.
Besides, there are not a lot of places for military gliders to land on in Taiwan outside of airports and airbases.
In this recent discussion here, wasn't it about those drone gliders being used as airdropping cargo/supplies etc?
Wouldn't need to land on Taiwan in that case.
Load about 200 (or more) of these with ARMs and make them the first wave of the air assault on Taiwan.Old images of J-7 drones from years ago.
