General
The FAUDS anti-UAV system for defense against low-altitude, slow-moving small drones. Basically marketed toward police for urban use. The system uses a combination of IR+daylight cameras and radar to automatically detect, identify, and track drones. The drones can be brought down destructively by laser or projectile, or they can be brought down non-destructively by signal interference.

General
Project Feiyun (飞云工程), under which a class of high-endurance, high-altitude, solar-powered UAVs will be developed. These UAVs will be cruising in the stratosphere and can persist for weeks at a time. They are intended for providing emergency communications and networking, weather monitoring, and remote sensing and survey, among other tasks.

Technology demonstration flights have already been successfully completed for wide-area communications/networking function under the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020). In the current 14th Five-Year Plan, the UAVs will be further refined and improved to achieve the targeted endurance of weeks.

Specs on the UAV:
Length: 8.6m
Wingspan: 27m
Mission altitude: 20km
Mission payload: 30kg
Network coverage area: 200km (radius? diameter?)
Mission power supply: 300 Watt

The scale model on display is 1:13.
