So, SAR is confirmed on CH 4 uav ?

Is this radar capable of scanning terrain only beneath and under moderate angle relative to drone, or its capable of scanning in greater radius ?

What could be the effective range of such radar ?

Btw, Ive just noticed no names post. Radar can track vehicles from 11 km distance ?

What about stationary objects ?

Is the object identifying 100% guaranteed (whether its a tree, house, or truck), in general with SAR radars ?

11km is for Optical image, 5km for infrared image

Ok, SAR radar, creates a picture of scanned terrain, resembling regular photo, due to the extreme low wave lenght and some other properties ?

But, what I dont understand that part with infrared image in regards of (SAR) radar , could you explain it ?

Actually, nothing about IR sensor in regard to SAR in the comment.

I'm more curious as to how the IR sensor has a shorter range than the Optical.

Don't IR typically have lower resolution/range compared to regular optics?

Regular optics range is daytime, whereas IR range would likely be for night time.

IR has lower resolution than the visible band but it should have longer range since it's able to penetrate the atmosphere better although not as good as radio waves.

You can't shoot something unless you know what you are shooting at.

They will probably be able to detect heat sources from further away, but will have to close to within 5km to be able to positively ID it before they can take a shot.
