I doubt this. The more advanced L-15 is only equipped with PESA radar.

I've never found specs for the L-15 PESA radar, this was an important consideration when Uruguay was offered the aircraft around 10 years ago. Apparently the offer has been made again with price lowered (according to a Brazilian aviation publication) given that several western offers to Uruguay for an A-37 replacement have been rejected. There are rumours of M346 which I personally think unlikely due to cost. The L-15 may yet be considered.

How old are these airframes ? Can they sell some of them tho other countries ?
Maybe they can be offered to Uruguay for it's interminable A-37 replacement program. It was offered some years ago but the FAU was looking for radar. 2024 and they are down to maybe 1 or 0 operational Dragonflies - L-15 is being offered again and a friendly offer of used JL-8's just might be considered. Personally I always thought JL-9 would be well suited for FAU requirements, a relatively cheap multirole type - when it comes to Uruguayan military procurement price is everything!

As well, Bolivia are down to four K-8's they might be interested in a good offer on used JL-8's to boost the fleet.
