@BlackWindMnt bro can Huawei able to upgrade older phone like my P30 PRO to Harmony OS? I think my P30 PRO use a 7nm chip so it can able to handle the upgrade?

I think the P30 pro is already confirmed to have been upgraded in China to HarmonyOS, I believe I even saw older hardware being upgrade like the p10 pro. They even started a storage upgrade program in China for their older devices which would also upgraded your device to HarmonyOS.

But we will see if I'm not mistaken there will be a Huawei developers conference some time in October to reveal maybe HarmonyOS 3 and hopefully a global release date.

Seems to me China will end up dominating Internet of Things with Huawei's Harmony OS.
IOT is a very promising sector for China.

1. the sensor chips require mostly skill in analog design, chemistry and physics, which is China's strongsuit. it doesn't require weak areas like EUV lithography or EDA.

2. many domestic natively IOT enabled microcontrollers are already in widespread use i.e. ESP32

3. the real value though comes from value added to both enterprises and government. a major issue with planned economies in the past was there was not enough data for planners to make accurate decisions, and despite the inherent inefficiencies of monopolies and rent seeking profiteers, the lack of data was difficult to overcome. now both enterprise and government have the data to make good decisions and plans.

IOT gives you more data than you know what to do with. Both technologically and ideologically, IOT is a field that is uniquely suited for China.
