Chinese semiconductor industry

As reunification is happening over the next few years, Samsung will be forced to switch sides sooner, as they worry about losing more market share to Chinese fabs. We are talking China taking over in the whole chip making process, including machines and semiconductor making. This is going to be a profound change in the industry and a shock to the racists.
@Tyler bro if China is able to deliver an EUVL in 2022 -23, SK will break ranks and will declare neutral, TW is a lost cause even without reunification as America is determined to have its owned inhouse Semi industries as 21st century mark the end of globalism (outsourcing). That is why @Annihilation98 post about India having its owned vibrant IC FAB beating China is a JOKE. Nobody will help them as protectionism is being erected among develop country, they will sell the equipment but not the expertise making such purchase useless.

There was a comment I saw on reddit on how the US should have approached the chip ban and its scary because it would have worked. Thank god for the idealogues like Pompeo who were in charge couldn't formulate such a long term policy.

@Topazchen bro what Trump and Navarro want is to end globalization (outsourcing) their theme is MAGA, Pompeo and org are Neocons who want to maintain the status quo. So the disconnect are there inside the Trump administration and is being continued by the Biden administration. The deep state working the China policy knows that they can't stop China and as a recourse stealing its allies tech and let them establish a FAB inside the US is their main objective. In that way their vulnerability will be address as the competition with China intensify.

What, you want to do 3D RAM using multiple wafers? That is not what 3D NAND is about for the most part.
3D NAND does multiple layers on a wafer. Even YMTC, one of the few who uses multiple wafers, only uses two wafers, and it isn't supposed to ever use more than two wafers. Using multiple wafers would increase cost and aligning wafers isn't easy either.

The whole deal with making the transistors smaller is you reduce power consumption, and not just size, but also increase production rate. With the same wafer you can have more chips or more memory in them if the wafer output is the same. Right now EUV machines have slower throughput on a per pass basis but the situation for EUV keeps improving.

AMD's chiplets are nothing like that since AMD Zen is basically a multiple chip module design. It is just the modern incarnation of the same technologies used in an older Pentium Pro or POWER4 processor.

SMIC 7nm won't solve Huawei's problems unless they have a 100% Chinese production line. SMIC had to stop manufacturing Huawei's 14nm mobile processors due to US pressure already. The US threatened to cut SMIC's access to consumable materials and parts and SMIC conceded. Unless SMIC or some other company moves to Chinese tools or the lock of the US on the semi industry is broken this won't change.

China has absolutely no choice than to develop the entire value chain of semiconductor and IC chip manufacturing, including the chips and the equipment and their components domestically, so as to NEVER be vulnerable to embargos externally. Absolutely no outside country can be trusted, because they are all vulnerable to US suasion to cut off supplies against their best economic interests.

Trump has been by far the best driver of Chinese industrial policy with regards to the implementation of Made in China 2025. The ploy of flooding China with cheap less than latest generation tech equipment to be utilized by their manufacturing companies to produce goods when it is known that Chinese equipment manufacturers have reached a certain level of quality will not longer work.

Politicians and tech executives who make the utterances that China should stop supposedly wasting resources to develop its own sophisticated technologies in entirety will likely now be shot.

With TSMC and ASML being displaced by China soon, the racists will have problems stealing technology from their so-called allies.

The anglo americans must not be allowed to set up a fab inside the continental US otherwise they will instigate the war in east Asia; look at what they did once fracking became viable in the US- the obama admin. went balls to the wall utter chaos after the arab spring wreaking havoc now that they didn't have to depend on middle eastern oil.
And so it shall be once the anglo americans don't depend on taiwan for semiconductors; whilst yes, that would lessen taiwan's importance to the anglos, it also means the anglos will turn taiwan into a bleeding sore in asia, like syria and iraq was for the last decade.

Anglo america's core principle is white supremacism at all costs, and sacrificing the lives and livelihoods of asians is par for the course.

The Indians may just buy a couple of ASML machines, but where do they find the engineers? SMEE can even tease them by offering them Chinese machines.

@hashtagpls bro my belief its the opposite once they established the FAB and had the tech in 2025 they will throw the TW out of the bus and leave them. Cause by that time China may have a thousand nuclear warhead, an operating EUVL, an economy approaching the size of the US and the most important the driver of GLOBAL Growth.
