Putin is not going to sell you cheap natural gas anymore. You got to pay 25X, yes, 25 TIMES now, or get it from the Americans at 35 times the price.
Europe is going to fair well alright. In semiconductors, if they succeed, US, Taiwan and even Japan would feel the pinch.
Be realistic. It is very unlikely that Chinese made semiconductors will proliferate and take-over Europe in the future. Even if they may, the chips would have to be designed by a "non-communist" country to placate and pacify the powers that be. It's better to not consider banging that door but rather target developing markets and China itself.
If Europe commits to something, it'll happen. The tough part is getting them to commit and stay course though.
Just hike the rmb 5% and print more rmb for payment. The Russians do not accept $US.
