Yes.. USA is far too advance..USA is superpower for a reason
Thats one creepy reasoning. USA became super power due to European brain drain during & following WW2.

Did you read history of CPUs? People only know company & country names. Do you know who designed first CPU for intel?
The companies you have mentioned,Lam research, cadence, synopsis, do you know who founded them?

Do you know the reason why Warsaw pact was signed? Or plaza accord?
There is a reason why US considers China to be far bigger challenge than Russia.

US never have been a self sufficient super power unlike any of it's predecessor.

In fact US is far behind in core scientific fields compared to some of european countries & Israel. They don't even figure into competition with South Korea or Japan.

Yeah.. I know.. But still under American domain.. That's why ASML still doesnt sell their euv to China because of us sanction.. I consider european as American domain/influence..
Yes, but that's not technical domain, is it?
ASML's EUV is less than 10% US tech I believe.
TSMC's <7nm nodes are < 10% US tech.

It's really just Mike Pompeo going all gangsta.

I mean if you've worked in the US tech industry you would know a significant portion of the actual scientists are Chinese.

So we're not dumber. We just lack confidence and strength.

CCP should offer dual citizenship to diaspora Chinese scientists or something. For many this is one of the biggest issues with going back and starting a tech company in China.

I told that long before. US can't go head to head with China in tech domain. They simply don't have it to develop technologies. They have been dependent on brain drain of first european then asian talents.

Regardless of % of "US tech", they will use whatever they have let, which is economic & security domain, to achieve their goals.

And the lack of confidence as demonstrated by @Annihilation98 is also a reason why Chinese are behind.

If you start with a losing/pessimistic mindset you will never succeed in the tech world. Probably won’t live a good life either.

No matter how percentage is usa tech in european, or another allies like nato, japanese, taiwan or korean company.. When America say No, means No... America is that powerful..even their congress can make rules for foreign nation.. For example, In ukraine, they can block purchase of jet engine company, TSMC stop supplying huawei, and many more.. their influence is too big

China will never moving forward if they dont produce their own semiconductor processing equipment.. I think USA is just far too advance too catch up and China know that...Lam research, applied materials, texas instruments, and asml is far too advance to copy
LOL What does that even mean? What is too advanced and what is not? Where did you put the threshold and why?
If you have more money but stupid, you cant produce anything...this thing can applied to China.. China pumps more money to tech industry but failed horibbly
You're probably the only person in the world (other than your alternate accounts) who says that Chinese tech failed horribly. The whole developed world is in fear of Chinese tech development because of how fast it is moving in every sector, already at the top of the world in several. Your trolling failed horribly and showed us that the only stupid thing here is you.

USA can't even make its own advanced chips. China will the the only country to have its own indigenous line after this. USA is a superpower because of the immigrants that innovated for it. Now, that is waning every day from the xenophobia, reminds me of the fall of Sparta.

Their influence is limited to the short term. America can tell others that they can't use American components or tech but once replaced, America is out of the loop. Those of us who know history see that this exact pattern happened before with the satellite launches. At first, there was a speed bump, but soon, there were "USA-free" alternatives made for China. And that doesn't even take into consideration that China is now ready to do it alone. America can make a big mess of things on the way out of the world throne just like Trump is doing to the presidency, but it's just a swan song temper tantrum, nonetheless. Chinese innovation is the enduring force that will light the future.
