That's how the future is going.


Previous generation of AESA has a module that is the equivalent to a PCB. In layman's terms, something about the size of a PC motherboard or a graphics PC card.

This time, a T/R module is all in a single chip.

5G and other telecom arrays are already using this configuration.
What browser are you using?

I don't know. I haven't found any brochures or information placard on the radar.
Pozotron use chip base design for there aesa radar,and 2015 or 2016 moscow air show,russian firm offering to upgrade the R 27 with active aesa radar,the aesa use chip base design.

Watching the news about the civil war in syria,anti assad forces over ran pro government base in western syria among thevequipment they capture were ycl 18 radar and box load of norinco 100mm apd fs rd.

What does this have to do with Chinese radar developments? What is "ycl 18" exactly? There is no Chinese radar by that designation. And what is "apd fs rd"? Sinodefence Forum isn't a chat app for semi-literate teenagers. If you can't bother with basic spelling and grammar, then this place isn't for you.
