Chinese military exports to other countries

I noticed this news in pakistan defence forum, can anyone confirm? That is a quite larger deal if true.

NORINCO has exported 500 millions of weapons to Venezuela，including VN1 8X8 APC，SR-5 122/200 mm MRLS，81 mm and 120 mm SMP， VN-18 ACV，VN-16 PT，et al.

Phrasing seems funny. How about 500million dollars or 500million Euros or 500million RMB? If its a sum of currency it starts making more sense

Don't know why I didn't notice it yesterday, but VN1 going for Venezuela has one man turret. I wonder why they chose to go with it instead of the two man turret seen in ZBL-09.

Does anyone here know weight of these turrets?

I don't know the specs for sure but it's probably the reason for a one man turret is to save gas and money by cutting weight.

I think the reason for one-man turret is save space and human resource. Less man, more technology. The IFV looks cool, right? Don't know how it performs? Have they delivered it and how many were exported?

Should perform well enough since they purchased VN1's instead of Russian BTR-80's what were bought for Venezuelan army few years ago. Perhaps Venezuelans aren't too happy with BTR-80's since they didn't buy more of them and BTR-80 does have some weird design features.
