Chinese Hypersonic Developments (HGVs/HCMs)

If you observe some videos on the same YouTube channel, the missile does a sharp decent and then kinda changes direction of flight, so I think it's not a ballistic missile. To me, it looks like a some sort of HGV.

There seems to be another ignition after movement into the depressed trajectory so my gut says this is some kind of hypersonic plane or cruise missile.

More from Weibo:

Blogger 单手搓核弹 claims test was conducted out of Beijing. Does anyone have any idea if this is actually a missile test or just another hypersonic aircraft or rocket testing of sorts?(Images from Captain小潇)

New DF-26D hypersonic missile (aka the 'Guam Killer') has supposedly been test-launched by PLARF after its unveiling at the September 3 Military Parade. Army Recognition Group say the missile would threaten Andersen Air Force Base in Guam and US navy operations in the Pacific.. but could this be the same unidentified missile tested a few days back?

That site is trash, there's no evidence the test was DF-26 even if it could've been.

I wonder what changes the 26D has though, seems like there's still no info on it or DF-61. Maybe modestly boosted range from new propellants, etc?

I saw someone say DF-61 has 60 nukes and 1 hydrogen bomb. It was that Chinese commentator surnamed Gao. Victor Gao.
