Im gonna waste another decades of my good life expecting the 5th gen engine.

Anyway, the manager dude was saying 5th gen like ws-19 and ws-20 are now at materials selection stages, does it mean the design has been fixated? If that's the case, we might see 5th gen before 2030 ROFL!!! Yall millenium mofo are lucky SOB

Orca: Another big news is that a turboprop engine on international advanced level quietly completed testing. Used on carrier-based aircraft.

To my understanding, it presumably means to be AEP500.

just for knowledge. which engine could be better for Chinese sixth generation fighter jet.

counter-rotating 4 stage high pressure compressor core with a compression ratio of 10 or Adaptive variable cycle engine.

among these two, which engine is better in specifications and next generation technologies. coz there is so much hype about VCE.
