an article on WS-10A

It just talks about good reviews given to people using WS-10A, because they have managed to resolve issues quickly. This process obviously makes WS-10A more reliable in the long run.

so this caused quite the wave on CD today. Basically, it mentioned as whole new engine project that is starting in the same Liyang Engine plant that produces WS-13. It also mentions WS-13's success, in that it completed long duration testing at the end of last year. Supposedly, this new engine is aimed for F414 EDE (enhanced durability engine)

With much of the engine covered except for the nozzle?

At the same time its impossible to count the nozzle petals individually.

Still great to see it come around.

WS-10 resemble GE F-100 rather than AL-31,no surprise,since Chinese engineers has access to Pakistani F-16A.

Yes ... and I knoe we had a similar diskussion some time ago´regarding the WS-10A on the J-11B and if this was/is actually the Taihang or the WS-10A with an exhaust very similar to the AL-31F-series ... as they were substantially different to the WS-10 equipped J-11-testbed (But very similar to those !)

So You are right: "With much of the engine covered except for the nozzle?" it's hardly to say but if we finally will spot a J-10 or J-11B with these exhaust-pedals it is for sure no longer the AL-31F/FN ! Agreed ?

Prove it buddy or stop this nonsense propaganda

This issue has already been discussed on number of forms and Lockheed Martin had confirmed PAF’s F-16s were never examined by Chinese

Don’t steal Credit from Chinese engineers
(On the contrary if you think like this many people say USA’s weaponry is totally based upon the German stolen technology)
